We collaborate with local communities to evaluate their requirements and guarantee efficient resource allocation.
Mentorship & Career Guidance
Our mentorship program connects students with professionals in diverse fields to provide career guidance, complementing their education. It offers one-on-one mentorship and group workshops to assist students in navigating their educational journey and preparing for future careers. We also provide after-school programs and networking opportunities for youth in the Twin Cities area.
Teacher Training & Support
Mako Foundation values well-trained and motivated educators as critical for delivering quality education. We invest in teacher training and support programs to equip educators with the skills and knowledge to provide effective instruction and cultivate a nurturing learning environment. We partner with educational institutions and experts to create comprehensive training programs that emphasize both subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
Mako Foundation provides scholarships and financial aid to financially challenged young students in Ethiopia, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations without financial burden. Our program covers primary school to higher education. While we don’t currently offer scholarships in the US, our objective is to extend our support in the future.
